My Dad started with the basic ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt and Pepper, Sugar, and Crushed Red Pepper. He wanted to maintain this base while enhancing the flavor even more. So he continued to search for the right ingredients to make his the best.

When I arrived in May 2006, he told me that the changes he had made to the Barbecue Sauce were good, but the recipe still needed something. After months of experimenting with different ideas I added (1) ingredient and adjusted the amounts of his existing recipe, and then we knew we had it!

Today locals enjoy it, as well as our tourists. Many tourists have never experienced BBQ like this and immediately become hooked and will eat with us 2 or 3 times while here on vacation. Afterwards, we will ship them BBQ right to their home at their request.
